Happy Ending: Paddy

Updated: May 6

Paddy, now called Rudi, has been adopted and has hit the jackpot

This lovely little boy was saved from certain death in the open courtyards of public shelter 3 by Renata Sretna Sapa who really couldn’t leave him there. Even though we were stretched beyond our own capacity financially.

You might remember him when he was called Paddy? He was just skin and bone and had virtually no hair.

We made an emergency appeal for him and you responded so kindly so we could cover all of his preparation fees that cost €250 now to get him out.

Arnela Hadziefendic and Sead our fabulous team who work with Renata, fed him on the very best diets and vitamins that we could find in the shelter in Bosnia. Our team wrapped him in TLC so he he started to improve.

Then dear Lorraine Dickens who is such a lovely friend to us, pledged to find him a fantastic home and didn’t she do well ?

Here he is now living the ABSOLUTE Dream with his new parents in the beaches of Suffolk.

His new dad Nic said: “He’s our first rescue and we don’t know what to expect. The first couple of weeks or so were tough as we began to realise the struggle he must’ve had, scavenging for food etc. We believe Rudi feels safe with us and now doesn’t beg at the table, or steal food.

Just on every walk we get stopped to say what a beautiful boy he is

Our thanks go to every single person involved to help him to get here the work that Arnela, Sead, Renata absolutely have put in was phenomenal. Although we don’t know them personally we can see the love and dedication they put into helping these beautiful souls have the best life

“Rudi is well and truly now part of the family. His favourite thing is an early walk on the beach, exploring and playing ball.
He has home cooked dinners, loves a peanut butter treats and is now an expert in zoomies! ”

Rudi sends very big kisses to everyone who helped to change his life with their kindness by responding to our appeal.

The truth is that None of this would be possible without your help — and he just simply would’ve died in the public public shelter within days.

This is rescue

Teamwork makes the dreamwork
